About Sky

I am a New York City–based multidisciplinary artist working across fiber, crochet, painting, paper crafts, and crafting. While crochet currently anchors much of my practice, I move fluidly between mediums — including canvas, watercolor, punch needle embroidery, 3D paper crafts, and paper making — allowing the material to guide each concept.

Growing up reading manga and watching anime sparked my early love for art and creative expression. That exposure nurtured my imagination and curiosity, which continue to shape how I approach making today. Across mediums, I am drawn to texture, experimentation, and the freedom to shift between slow, process-driven work like crochet and more fluid, hands-on practices such as watercolor, embroidery, and paper crafts.

My work reflects exploration rather than confinement to a single form. A formative milestone in my artistic journey was creating a piece in high school that was signed by Jay Park — a moment that affirmed my dedication to pursuing art across disciplines.
